The UPOI file stores points of interest for iGO navigation software. Windows supports UPOI files. Select an app to open UPOI files. On Windows, right-click a UPOI file. Choose “Open with” and select an app. Check “Always use this app for UPOI files”. On Mac, right-click or control-click the file. Select “Open with” and choose an app. Check “Always Open With”. On Linux, right-click the file. Select “Open with” and choose an app. On iPhone, tap the file. Select and install a UPOI supporting app like Naviextras Toolbox. Associate the app with UPOI files. Right-click the file. Choose “Open with”. Pick the app and select its location. Be careful opening UPOI files from unknown sources. They may contain malware.
