TCP stands for Tally Compiled Program. It stores compiled TDL program created in Tally.Developer. TDL means Tally Definition Language. TCP belongs to Data file category. It is associated with Tally products like Tally.ERP, Tally.Developer, and Tally.Server. Tally Solutions introduced the TCP format. Its location depends on installed Tally application.
When TCP file isn’t associated correctly, other programs launch on double click. To fix, double click the TCP file. If OS has suitable app to open it, the file itself starts. Also ensure Tally.ERP is there on your system.
TCP file contains compiled program with product details inserted by developers. It is only readable by Tally. To know more about opening TCP files, contact Tally Solutions.
