You can open t22 files in H&R Block software for 2022 or later. Select “Import” to bring tax return data into the current year’s software. The file extension indicates the tax year – t21 for 2021 returns, t22 for 2022, etc. t22 files store tax return data as binary information, typically 32 to 300 KB in size.
