STYK files are Stykz stick figure files. They contain a single animated stick figure made in Stykz. STYK files can be added to the Stykz library by clicking the Add button and selecting the figure to import. You can also drag an STYK file from the desktop to the library to add it. Stykz animations are saved as .STYKZ files.
The .STYK file extension is created by Sons of Thunder Software. STYK files are classified as data files. Windows may not recognize the .styk file type, so you get a message to select an app to open the file when double-clicking it.
Although .styk files may seem like data files, they are image files with embedded animation. To open .styk files, download and install the Stykz software from the developer’s website. Right-click on a .styk file, select “Open with” and choose the Stykz software.
