The .ssd file extension stores skins list for WindowBlinds desktop software by Stardock Systems. The file contains number of skins, title and file name of each skin. It serves as pointer to .uis and .sss skin files. The .ssd files store information necessary for WindowBlinds to use skins.
Other programs that open .ssd files are StatView, PaintTool SAI, Snagit Studio. The .ssd file may be binary format. It can be read-only or writable depending on location. We provide information on what .ssd file is and how to open, view or convert it.

SSD files store objects like planets. Or databases. If you add objects with the Editor, SSD files go in the Sky Data folder. Any database also goes there. SSD files open in Simulation Curriculum’s Starry Night Pro.
To fix SSD file problems, update your SSD viewer. You can build databases from the read-me file. It has a sample text file. The format shows how to build your own.
