When a Skylander saved as a SKY file levels up or collects coins, that progress saves to the file. This allows players to load leveled-up Skylanders in different games and emulators. To open a SKY file, load it in RPCS3 or Dolphin while playing a Skylanders game. In RPCS3, select Manage -> Skylanders Portal. In Dolphin, select Tools -> Emulated USB Devices -> Skylanders Portal. Then access the portal menu and load your SKY file. As long as you have a valid SKY file, you can run it through tools to edit your character. The files can’t be in use by RPCS3. Open your Skylander Portal Manager and “clear” characters to edit. Back up files you don’t want to lose! This works for Giants, not tested newer ones. Each portal has slots – usually 2 for figures, 1 for items. The Traptanium and SuperChargers portals have an extra slot for traps.

Photoshop has a new Sky Replacement tool. It lets you easily change the sky in a photo with one click. Photoshop automatically creates a mask and replaces the sky. You can adjust settings and add preset skies. Or use your own sky photos.
To use Sky Replacement, open your photo in Photoshop. Go to Edit > Sky Replacement. Click the arrow next to the preview. Choose a new sky from preset options or your files. Photoshop masks the original sky. And blends in the new sky. You can tweak color and lighting as needed.
Replacing skies is now faster in Photoshop. The tool does the masking for you. Saving time and effort. You can get more dramatic skies. Without complex edits. Sky Replacement works best in Photoshop. But Photoshop Elements has background replacement. And Lightroom can send photos to Photoshop. For sky edits.
The tool uses AI to detect the sky area. It creates a layer mask automatically. You pick the new sky. Then Photoshop composites it into the photo. With natural blending applied. You can disclose when an image uses Sky Replacement. As the editing does change the original photo. But now it’s easier than ever. To customize skies in your images.
