On the Asutype website you can find detailed information about the software and supported formats like SHORTCUT. SHORTCUT files are primarily viewed with Asutype. They are uncommon files with low popularity.
To open a SHORTCUT file, associate it with Asutype. If Asutype is not installed, download it first. Then right click the file, choose “Open with,” and select Asutype. Check “Always use this app” to permanently associate SHORTCUT files with Asutype. If the file still does not open in Asutype, create a file association from the file’s Properties menu.
Asutype can also import and export shortcuts as plain text files. To export, right click the tab and choose “Export entries to a file.” Enter a file name and click “Save.” To import, enter the file name and click “Open.” A message will show when importing is complete.
