NWD files ease opening of NWD and 3D DWF files. NWD files enable viewing of model hierarchy, object properties, and embedded review data, including viewpoints, animations, redlines, and comments.
You cannot access NWD files although Navisworks is installed on your system. The reason is that the software is outdated. The latest version of Navisworks should support all file formats that where compatible with older versions.
The NWD file is supported on 1 operating system. You may need different software to handle the NWD files depending on your operating system.
Files saved in the NWD file format are used to view 3D models. Like BIM suites, NWD files can also be used for analysis.
You can display the contents of the NWD file online without installing dedicated software. To view the content of the NWD file, select one of the available options: NWD File Viewer.
