What is an MWL file? An MWL file contains a Super Mario World level. It is used by the Lunar Magic level editor for the Super Mario World game on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The MWL format stores one or more custom Super Mario World levels. Lunar Magic requires the 1.0 American Super Mario World or Mario All Stars + World SNES game ROMs.
An MWL file also contains a print layout from Aquaveo SMS and GMS. These are programs used to model water resources. The MWL file stores a map, text, north arrow, scale bar, or bitmap. It is placed in a layout for print. MWL files generate reports and presentations with the Layout Editor in Aquaveo SMS and GMS. To export a layout, select “File → Export.” To import, select “File → Import.”
The MWL format also stores Super Mario World game data. Super Mario World is a 2D platform game. The player controls Mario or Luigi through side-scrolling levels.
