MFA files contain source code for apps made with Clickteam Fusion. MFA stands for Multimedia Fusion Application file format. It was developed by Clickteam. MFA files are the source code files for games or apps created with Fusion. Fusion saves the events, frames and other components in MFA files.
It is recommended to backup MFA files regularly. They can become corrupted and unreadable. Fusion has a feature to automatically backup files on each save. The backups use numbering for the file extension. Backups are important especially with beta software being tested.
You can open MFA files in Fusion. Select File then Open from the menu bar. The MFA file will open as an application in Fusion. You can also export MFA files to other formats like EXE, APP or HTML5 depending on project needs.
