A MER file contains compiled program data saved in an executable format. It is created from RSView development files. RSView creates human machine interface applications to develop, monitor and control industrial automation systems.
MER files cannot convert back to development files. So keep the original development file.
The MER format has two main types – Microsoft’s compound file format and RSView’s runtime format. The compound format structures contents into streams stored in the file. The RSView format contains compiled program data.
To use MER files, update the application you normally open them with. Or scan the file for viruses with antivirus software.
You can edit, convert or print MER files with compatible programs. Data interchange format MER files export Filemaker Pro data without field names.
