Files with the .MAS extension can be opened using the gMotor MAS File Utility program. This utility is included in the “rFactor mod development tool pack” available from the rFactor website. The gMotor MAS File Utility is used specifically to open .MAS files. These .MAS files are used in the rFactor video game to store asset files. The assets define racing track maps and other gameplay elements like backgrounds and structures.
The rFactor mod tool pack modifies certain files used by the rFactor racing simulation game. The pack includes applications to edit files used by the game. One application is the gMotor MAS File Utility. It opens .MAS files through its File > Open menu. These .MAS files contain racing track maps and visual elements seen during rFactor gameplay.
