Files with LXK extension are used by COREX. COREX is a program for exploiting Corpus Gesproken Nederlands (Dutch Spoken Corpus). It contains recordings and annotations of Dutch language. LXK files store XML formatted annotations made during lexicon link-up phase. They link multi-word structures across translation databases.
COREX and LXK files are meant for Windows. Over 1200 file types belong to developer files category including LXK. COREX is the most popular software supporting LXK format.
LXK files contain chronological annotations. They cannot be converted to other formats. To open LXK files, update the application you normally use for them.
The Corpus Gesproken Nederlands project and COREX software have been discontinued. LXK serves as link between source and target languages in translation databases.
