LANsurveyor is a network management application. It automates discovery, topology mapping, and reporting of network systems in real time. The LSP file extension is used for LANsurveyor Poll List files. These files contain information about network nodes. More details about the LSP format are available on the LANsurveyor website.
Originally, Neon Software developed LANsurveyor. SolarWinds acquired Neon Software in 2007. One LANsurveyor feature is a poll list. It tracks appearance and disappearance of network nodes. The poll list also has node performance statistics. Users can save poll lists as LSP files.
To open an LSP file, double-click it. Then the default associated application will open the file. If the default application does not open, you may need to install software that supports LSP files. Check the manufacturer’s website for more information. LSP files are data files associated with the LANsurveyor application.
