Files with LGO extension are Logo language files. They are used by programs like RoboLogo and Microsoft Visual Studio. The LGO file format was created by Softronics for Windows. It stores instructions for executing Logo programs.
MSW Logo supports LGO files. Other tools may also open LGO files. These files are text files containing Logo code words. They average 210 bytes and range from 100 bytes to 2 KB.
The LGO extension can be incorrectly given to various logo files. For example, OS/2 boot logos use the extension .lgo. Modern ListGeo output uses .lgo. USGS Digital Line Graph files use .lgo.
To open an LGO file click on it. If MSW Logo does not open choose another program like Windows 3.x. To always open LGO files with a chosen program do: Windows – Right click > Open with > Choose another app. Mac – Right click > Open with > Other. Linux – Right click > Open with. iPhone – Tap the file.
The Windows Registry associates file extensions with programs. To manually associate LGO files go to the Registry. Opening unknown files can be done by apps that read simple text data.
