The LDR file extension is used for LDraw model files. LDraw is a standard for creating digital LEGO models. The LDR file contains dimensions of LEGO bricks and their placement in 3D space. It is used for saving LEGO designs.
We know of two uses of the .LDR file extension. One use is for GoDot C64 image processing loaders. Another use is for LDraw model files. Different software can use the same file extension for different data types.
LDR files are also associated with Norton Ghost, a backup program by Symantec. The LDR file stores templates for backup processes in Norton Ghost. You can open LDR files in Norton Ghost.
If you cannot open an LDR file, you may need to update the software you normally use to open it. Only the latest versions of some software supports the current LDR format. Check if newer versions are available that can handle the LDR file.
