An extension is required to import other file types. The extension is optional. If you exclude it, .kit will be added by CodeKit. Root folder relative imports begin with a slash. CodeKit looks for the file relative to the project root. Multiple imports use a comma-separated list. Files only for importing have a leading underscore.
You can import files into a .kit using @include or @import. When saving, special comments are replaced by the imported text. You can use string variables too. Special comments become the variable values after compiling.
To create a .kit, rename HTML and add to CodeKit’s project. Then add that project. You can import anything with @include or @import. When saving the .kit, text replaces the special comments. You can also use string variables. Comments become values after compiling.
To open in 2020 Design, File -> Open or the open folder icon. Since .kit needs 2020 Design, save as image to share. File -> Save As -> Save As Image.
