GP extension is used to recognize files with GP content and format. GP files represent different data types.
To open a GP file, select and install a program from the list: Guitar Pro or other Windows programs. Right-click on the GP file. Select “Open with” option.
To export a GP file to other formats in Guitar Pro 7, select File → Export. Choose export format: GPX, GP5, MIDI, WAV, MP3.
If your GP file is corrupted or infected, get the file again. Scan it with virustotal.com.
Update your Guitar Pro software for the latest GP file format support. Search the manufacturer website for available updates.
