DWT is similar to DWG but treated as a template. The difference is the DWT file extension. DWT files are ready to use templates. To open a DWT file in AutoCAD, right-click a layout tab then select From Template.
Dreamweaver also uses DWT files for web design templates. They define consistent structure for website pages. To open in Dreamweaver, go to File > Open and select the DWT file.
