The disabled file extension belongs to Spybot – Search & Destroy. It stores data used by this program.
To open a disabled file, first download and install Spybot – Search & Destroy. Make sure the software is up to date to support disabled files.
You can also associate disabled files with Spybot – Search & Destroy manually. Right-click on the file, select Properties, and use the “Change” button to select Spybot – Search & Destroy.
If Spybot – Search & Destroy is installed but disabled files still won’t open, the software may not be set as the default program. Go to the disabled file’s Properties and under “Opens with” select Spybot – Search & Destroy.
