Files with CZIP extension are encrypted zip archives created by ZipGenius archiving tool. CZIP uses four encryption methods – CZIP, Blowfish, Twofish, Rijndael. To open a CZIP file select File -> Open in ZipGenius. To create a CZIP file, select Tools -> Encrypt/Decrypt archive and choose encryption method. Then enter a passphrase to secure the archive before creating it. CZIP files can be standard archives or self-locking/self-erasing archives needing the correct password to extract. Incorrect passwords make the file unrecoverable. ZipGenius is a Windows program supporting CZIP files. Some file managers and archivers also support this format to open/convert CZIP archives.
