A COMICLIFE file stores images, text and settings for a comic book made with Comic Life software. What is Comic Life? It is an application for creating comic books, scripts, photo albums and other visual items. The COMICLIFE file format replaced older CL2DOC files in Comic Life version 3.
If COMICLIFE files don’t open in Comic Life, check you have the latest release. New versions add support for more file types. If an older version could open a file type, the new one should as well.
To set Comic Life as default to open COMICLIFE files, access file properties by right-clicking. The ‘Change’ button allows setting file associations. Without an application in the list, browse to manually select Comic Life. Checking ‘Always use…’ sets it as default for COMICLIFE files.
You can make comics or albums by dragging in photos and adding text like speech bubbles. A webcam feature even allows live comic creation.
