CAFFEMODEL files contain image models. Caffe creates them from PROTOTXT files. Caffe is for image classification and segmentation. Users first create PROTOTXT files. Then they train models from PROTOTXTS.
CAFFEMODEL file extensions associate with various programs. Some may be harmful. Be cautious of .caffemodel files from unknown sources.
Windows checks the file extension to open CAFFEMODEL files. We provide help opening, editing, converting or printing them.
To train models, use PROTOTXT files. To deploy them, use CAFFEMODEL files. HDF5 files also store models. Convert BINARYPROTO model files to HDF5 before importing to SAS Deep Learning. The “convertToHdf5” tool does this conversion.
