The awy.dat file defines airway segments in X-Plane 10 used to draw charts. The file structure is similar to other X-Plane data files. The first line indicates if the file was generated on PC (“I”) or Mac (“A”). X-Plane uses this code to deal with carriage returns and endian issues.
