The AREXPORT file may contain up to three ARFX files. One ARFX file gives users access to the effect on iOS devices. Another gives users access to the effect on newer Android devices. The third gives users access to the effect on old Android devices. The AREXPORT file can also contain a .ARPROJPKG file. This is a zipped version of the project the AREXPORT file was created from.

One file association found for AREXPORT files – Spark AR Studio Export Data. Spark AR Studio is from Facebook. It develops augmented reality filters for social networks. More details on the AREXPORT format are not yet available.

The size limit for AREXPORT files is always 40 MB. You can exclude data fields from the export to ARX. The utility supports Unicode data.
The export file contains individual files needed for effects to work on chosen platforms. To create it: Click Publish in the toolbar. In the Publish window, follow prompts. When ready, select Export. It saves locally. You can rename it before saving. Upload it to Spark Hub to finish publishing.
You can edit ARPROJ files without unzipping using Bare Bones Software’s BBEdit.
