Open over 400 file formats with File Viewer Plus. When opened in a text editor, you can modify CAMSHORTCUTS file properties. However, if incorrectly edit the file, you may accidentally break keyboard shortcuts. The CAMSHORTCUTS extension indicates which app can open the file. However, different programs may use the CAMSHORTCUTS file type for different data types. While we do not yet describe the CAMSHORTCUTS format and its uses, we do know which programs open these files, as we receive suggestions from users daily about file types and programs they use to open them.
To import shortcuts, select Preferences > Shortcuts tab. Click the icon and select Import. Select a CAMSHORTCUTS file and click Open. On Windows, Camtasia overwrites existing keyboard shortcuts with the new shortcut set. Enter a file name and location, and click Save. Camtasia saves the CAMSHORTCUTS file. Shortcut sets are not cross-platform compatible.
