To restore, open Settings. Select “Restore backup”. Choose a GS-BCK file. Genius Scan restarts. Documents return.
GS-BCK filenames follow this format: backup_[year]-[month]-[day].gs-bck. An example from September 12, 2018: backup_2018-09-12.gs-bck.
Double-clicking a GS-BCK may not open it. Windows needs an associated program. If none exists, Windows asks you to select one. GS-BCK files could contain viruses. Scan them before opening.
