Learn what a KWD file is. The KWD file extension is used for a KWord Document developed by KDE. KWord is part of KOffice, an integrated office suite for Unix and Linux-based workstations. It is a word processor and desktop publishing program that includes advanced page formatting options. It uses paragraph style sheets to apply styles to text, tables, columns, borders, etc.
Ensure the KWD file is complete and error-free. If the file was sent to you by someone else, ask them to resend it. The file might have been copied erroneously and lost integrity. This precludes accessing the file. When downloading the file from the internet an error may have occurred resulting in an incomplete file. Try downloading the file again.
