USR file serves as container for user databases in FileMaker Pro. It houses data and components in proprietary structure. FileMaker Pro imports data efficiently from texts, Excel, or Bento. Imported data can be managed, modified, and analyzed to generate reports and perform analysis for decisions. FileMaker Pro facilitates data sharing and collaboration.
USR uses complex format to store data, scripts, layouts, and images. Data can be exported in various formats. Data also imported from texts, Excel, or Bento. Sometimes stored as UFSR files on Mac OS X.

A USR file is data used by Lowrance iFinder GPS devices. Fishermen use them to navigate and save fishing spots. These files contain waypoints, routes, tracks and event marker icons. They are created and saved on the MultiMediaCard memory in the device. To transfer the files from the card to a computer:
Carefully remove the card from the GPS device. Use a card reader to insert the memory card into your computer. Software programs allow to view, edit, convert, merge, split and compare USR files without installing anything.
Newer Lowrance models support either an SD or microSD card. When exported, data is saved to the card as a file. Some models can export data in GPX format but the native format is USR. Typically, exported native format files have a .usr suffix. GPX format files have a .gpx suffix. Lowrance units use five USR file versions currently. These versions store the four elements (waypoints, routes, trails and event marker icons) differently. Some units don’t support all four elements.
