You cannot open “.fb!” files in other programs. At best it continues the download. Sometimes it breaks and you restart. During download, “.fb!” contains incomplete data.
To open, install software supporting “.fb!” files. Find and download it if needed. Check “.fb!” files for errors beforehand.
When downloading with FlashGet, files save with “.fb!” extension. After finishing, “.fb!” is replaced by the proper extension. For an MP3, it saves as “filename.fb!”. Upon completion, it saves as “filename.mp3”.
