You can open a SPLINE file in Spline (Web). Go to Home screen. Select Import. Follow instructions to import SPLINE file.
This file has information to define spline graph. Graph has points in 3D space, connected by cubic Bezier spline segments. Edit via text editor or API.
Two sections: Points – coordinates (X, Y, Z). Segments – spline segments connecting points. Syntax: source code.
Import SHP files as splines in 3ds Max. Open SHP files in programs. Exchange geometry format. Layers map to groups in Editor. Lose texture and color when saving to DXF.
Import into Spline: Images – PNG, JPG. Video – WebM, MP4. 3D Content – OBJ. More exports coming.
