Explore development projects are saved as EP files. EP files are similar to Scratch 1.0’s .SB files. Scratch 1.0 cannot open EP files. Explore can import users’ SB files and convert them into EP files.
To open an EP file in Explore (Windows), select File → Open from Explore’s menu bar. Then, navigate to and open your EP file.
There are 2 File Types for .EP: Pencil Document and Explore Project.
Pencil Document (.EP):
In Windows/Mac/Linux, .EP files open with Evolus Pencil.
Explore Project (.EP):
In Windows, .EP files open with Explore.
An operating system manages a system’s hardware and resources. It provides file storage, software execution, Internet connectivity and more. Linux is an open-source, community-driven operating system built on Unix.
The EP file extension has multiple formats and uses. EPS files store vector graphics widely used in design. Pencil software uses the .ep extension for its documents. EP files are also used in prototyping and weaving software. Programs that open EP files depend on the file format.
Possible EP file problems: corruption, missing registry entries, incomplete installation. To open an unrecognized EP file, right-click it and select an application to open it. If that fails, the file may be damaged.
