The RCM file format contains compressed images and XML data. An RCM file has 17 to 50 files, averaging 19. File names include [Content_Types].xml, cnx.xml, and core.xml. You can see included files by renaming the extension to .zip. RCM files are used by some Logos Bible applications. The format is deprecated and no longer supported. To convert RCM files, open them in ReCap Photo then export to formats like OBJ or FBX. The Hyena system administration tool also uses RCM files to store remote control configurations. Autodesk Reality Capture uses the format for photogrammetry models created from photographs or laser scans. More information on the RCM format is available on Autodesk’s website.
