The MSAV file extension indicates which app can open the file on your device. Mindustry, a tower defense game, creates saved MSAV game and map files. It stores them in different directories. While we do not yet describe the MSAV format, we know programs that open these files from user suggestions.
Different programs may use MSAV files for different data types. We receive dozens of suggestions daily about file types and programs users open them with. Executable MSAV.EXE files may have problems like high CPU usage, errors, and possible virus infection. Corrupt, missing, or infected files often cause launch issues.
Command /N displays MSAV.TXT contents if it exists in the MSAV.EXE directory. MSAV then scans the drive without the interface. With detected viruses, it returns code 86 instead of a message. Code 86 means more than one virus found. Command /P shows a command-line instead of the interface. Command /F turns off displaying scanned filenames.
