The QBA.TLG file is created during backup if you have set a verification level. There are three options: Complete Verification checks your file thoroughly. Quicker Verification checks only vital parts. No Verification backs up quickly but not comprehensively. It does not create a QBA.TLG file. If you lose data, your latest backup and QBA.TLG file can be used to recover data.
