To open Mp3tag export configuration files, extract them from the ZIP archive to a specific folder. The folder locations are: Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[User]\Application Data\Mp3tag. Windows Vista and later: C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\Mp3tag. MTE files store the configuration. Other programs can reference MTE files.
If Append data enabled, exported data appended to existing file. If One file per directory enabled or Shift key pressed, one export file created per directory.
