Files with a .kps extension are Keyman package files. They contain keyboard layouts and other resources. Users can install keyboards from Keyman packages. KPS files work with Keyman Developer. The software compiles keyboards into Keyman packages.
KPS files also contain bitmap graphics. They work with XnView software. XnView is an image viewer program for Windows. It was created by Pierre-Emmanuel Gougelet. The graphics files store IBM KIPS images.
To open a KPS file, use Keyman Developer or XnView. If a KPS file won’t open, right-click it. Choose “Open with” and pick another program. Check “Always use this app” to set the default.
