A P3 file is a Primavera Enterprise Project file. Primavera Enterprise Project was created by Oracle Corporation. Primavera P3 projects can be opened in Primavera P6 by importing. Oracle discontinued support for Primavera P3 on December 31, 2010. P3 files belong to the Data Files category like 1326 other extensions. Primavera Enterprise Project is the most used program for working with P3 files.
To associate P3 files with an application, right click on Windows and choose “Open with”>”Choose another app”. Select the program and check “Always use this app for P3 files”. On Mac, right click, click “Open with”>”Other”, choose a program and check “Always open with”. To open P3 files on mobile devices, simply tap the file.
