The MIGRATEDAPLIBRARY file extension refers to an Apple Photos Migrated Aperture Library file format. These files are supported by Apple Photos on Mac OS devices. The MIGRATEDAPLIBRARY format was developed by Apple to migrate Aperture libraries into the Apple Photos application.
When Apple Photos successfully migrates an Aperture library, it changes the “aplibrary” extension to “migratedaplibrary”. It also creates hard links to the Aperture media assets so no additional disk space is used. The original Aperture library does not need to be deleted after migration.
