The BFM file extension is created by Terminal Reality. BFM files are Terminal Reality Model Files used in 3D games created by Terminal Reality like Bloodrayne and The Walking Dead. BFM files save model information for 3D objects in the games. They can be extracted from .POD files, which are game data containers Terminal Reality games use.
Windows doesn’t recognize BFM file extensions by default. To open a BFM file, you need an app associated with BFM files. Here are some programs that open BFM files:
1. BR2PodTools
2. BFM File Opener
3. BFM File Converter
4. BFM File Viewer
5. BFM File Editor
To associate BFM files with an app in Windows:
1. Right click a BFM file and click “Open with”> “Choose another app”.
2. Select the program and check “Always use this app for .BFM files”.
On Mac:
1. Right click/Ctrl-click the BFM file.
2. Click “Open with”>”Other…”.
BFM files are commonly found on Windows 10 machines and are popular in China. Website analysis shows BFM files have a .bfm extension and are binary format game files.
