After installing latest PaintShop Pro, set it as default to open PFR files. The method varies little across operating systems. On Windows, right-click the PFR file. Select Open with, then Choose another app. Open available apps list. Select Look for another app on this PC. Select PaintShop Pro folder, check Always use box, click OK. On Mac, open default programs options.
PFR files have 2 uses. Portable Font Resource files. Paint Shop Pro picture frames. PFR is compact font format for websites and digital TVs. Developed by Bitstream. Used by organizations that set digital TV standards like ATDC, DAVIC, DVB, DTG, MHP and OCAP.
