Resources are accessible in the application by original name preceded by a colon. QRC files compile into the binary with automatic code. The Nokia Qt Creator, Qt SDK, and PyQt can access data stored in these files on Windows, Mac and Linux.
QRC files belong to the Qt SDK by Qt. They store settings for the Qt application suite developed by Digia. Qt is a framework for creating desktop, smartphone and embedded GUI applications. QRCs list resources bundled with Qt applications like image files.
QRC files associate incorrectly with programs, causing no program message. Doubleclick the icon to open the file. If the operating system has an app to support it with file association, it will open. Make sure Nokia Qt Creator is installed. Search the name to check.
