Open Microsoft Excel on your computer. In the “Open” dialog box, navigate to the location where the WQ2 file is saved. Select the WQ2 file you want to convert and click on “Open”. Microsoft Excel will display a prompt to select the file format. Choose “Quattro Pro for Windows” and click “OK”. The WQ2 file should open in Microsoft Excel. Click “Save As”. Select the XLS format.
WQ2 files belong to the Spreadsheet Files category. WordPerfect Office supports WQ2 files. On the Corel website find information about WordPerfect Office software, WQ2 and supported formats. Programs which support WQ2 files are WordPerfect Office and Corel Quattro Pro. WQ2 files can be copied to any device, but may not open properly.
Install WordPerfect Office to support WQ2 files. If an application supports WQ2 files, right-click the file and choose “Open with”. Next, select the application and check “Always use the selected application”. The system will use that program by default.
WQ2 files contain spreadsheets from Quattro Pro for DOS. Quattro Pro was developed by Borland. Only Corel Quattro Pro software can open WQ2 files.
