CWP files are audio project files created by Cakewalk SONAR, a digital audio workstation application. They save an audio production with multiple tracks, effects, MIDI data, and parameters. Older Cakewalk versions used .WRK files.
SONAR, created by Cakewalk Inc., is the most used program for CWP files. Check the developer’s website for more information.
You may see .cwp files if you have an audio project made in SONAR. They contain track data SONAR uses like file names, tempo, and key. Open them in SONAR. SONAR can also export them to other formats.
To open a .cwp file, first install SONAR. Then right-click the file, choose “Open with,” and select SONAR. You can also associate SONAR with .cwp in the Windows Registry.
