MagicQ show files have .shw extension. Files are compatible across MagicQ products. Users can load shows from any MagicQ version into any other. Favourite shows, personalities, palettes and patterns can be imported to simplify programming. Show files can be copied using USB or network to access console file systems. When users save shows, MagicQ stores them as .shw files.
By default, MagicQ periodically saves backup shows as .sbk files. These get reloaded when MagicQ restarts. It’s good to save shows with different names at various points. For example, save as myshow-patch.shw after patching. Then save as myshow-final.shw after finishing.
