A .bash_profile file extension relates to the Unix Bash and is used for its login shell files. You can use any text or source code editor to view content of the .bash_profile files. The files cannot likely be converted to anything else. In order to open a BASH_PROFILE file, an appropriate program supporting the file format must be installed. Below is a list of programs supporting BASH_PROFILE files. Not all listed applications can perform all operations on BASH_PROFILE files. Some may only open and view contents while others may convert files to other formats. Learn about the BASH_PROFILE file extension and open .bash_profile files with associated software.
