The most common reason for problems opening LACCDB files is lacking proper applications on your system that support this file type. Microsoft Access creates a temporary LACCDB file when an ACCDB database is opened. This temporary file is deleted automatically when the database closes. Previous Access versions did the same, creating LDB files for MDB databases. If an LACCDB file remains when no databases are open, you can safely delete it.
