A DREAM file contains animated wallpaper. It runs solely on Windows Vista Ultimate to animate desktop images. It is a looped video or 3D content to add liveliness to the desktop. A DREAM file enhances the user’s desktop experience. Stardock Corporation developed DreamMaker software saves, edits, and creates DREAM files. The DreamMaker software helps pack animations. DeskScapes is additional software that runs DREAM wallpapers on Windows. A DREAM file format is video type that plays on desktops and mobiles. Windows systems support viewing, editing, and running these files. DREAM files have low popularity as animated wallpapers are not common. But they provide high quality motion for an otherwise static desktop.
Users create DREAM files in DreamMaker and save them. This stores the project assets and edit history in one sharable file. DREAM files contain triggered effects and 3D generation information. The associated WMV video backs up DREAM wallpaper data. WMV files reside in the DeskScapes folders. Online .DREAM apps also allow viewing, converting and splitting these files.

To import Procreate layers, open the Procreate project and Layers panel. Hold and drag individual layers or tap multiple layers before dragging into a Dreams project.
