You can use the EdLib program to create and save EDL files. The size of the EDL files is usually 3-9 KB. They can then be closed and reopened for further editing. The Yamaha YM3812 sound chip was created in 1985 by Yamaha. It has been used in Sound Blaster, Pro Audio Spectrum (8 bits), AdLib, and several Arcade games. EdLib was developed by Jens-Christian Huug (JCH) of Vibrants. Files given the .EDL extension are known as EdLib Audio files. Other file types may also use this extension. The best way to open an EDL file is to simply double-click it. If unable to open, you may not have the correct application. We have yet to investigate this file type further. Conclusion – Unfortunately no software associated with this extension yet.
