It is used by 3G phones supporting video capture, but 2G and 4G phones can play it too. The format stores H.263 or H.264 video and AMR-WB+, AMR-NB, HE-AAC v1, AAC-LC, or Enhanced aacPlus audio. More efficient formats have emerged, so 3GPP is less used now.
